This week on Hear Ye Hear Ye, the King is joined by Larry Murley, author, artisan, and American veteran. With the help of his wife, Larry has been able to open Crystal Mountain, a Texas Renaissance Festival booth that sells oils and incense, as well as share his stories from the Vietnam war with the world through his several books.Hear Ye! Dear Jimmy, It's another hot day here in Veit Nam....
Jimmie's father went to Viet Nam when he was 6 years old. He wrote little Jimmie about twice a week for most of a year, talking about his life, his feelings, the place and it's people. Then, just before he was to come home, he was killed. His body never recovered. His letters helped shape Jimmie's character as he grew into a young man. A chance encounter one afternoon leads Jimmie to a discovery about his father, and the closure he had sought for years.
